In the running for Andre Miller, he goes to Denver.

In the running for Elton Brand, he gets resigned.

In the running for Brad Miller, he goes to Sacramento.

We still have a signed offer sheet to Correy Maggette, but he's restricted. Who knows what the Clippers will do.

They haven't been able to sign anybody. This team will be a collection of stiffs next year if we don't sign someone!!

They are #3 on the list of the most money available under the cap!!! Nobody wants their money!

Most screwed teams during the offseason:

1- Jazz, for KM's departure and JS's retirment.
2- Mavs, for getting jilted by every free agent PF/C available and looking like idiots in the process.
3- Denver, for having all that money and getting only one good player out of it so far (Miller).

Most loved teams:

1- Lakers, no contest here.
2- New Jersey, for not losing Kidd when everyone thought they were, and for Mourning who can run faster on his hands than Mutumbo on his feet.
3- San Antonio, for resigning Duncan, replacing Robinson with Nest, and getting Turkoglu and Mercer to shore up their bench.
4- Sacramento, for getting Miller, a good defensive center and replacement for Vlade. Damn this team is uber-loaded.

No one wants to play for the Jazz because Utah isn't conducive to the average NBA player's, uh, "lifestyle". ;)

Let's get out the NBA Player checklist and compare:

1) Women to bear them children out of wedlock. Check

2) Marijuana. Check

3) Strip clubs. There are a few, though definitely not as prolific as other locales

4) Bars/clubs. Check, though they closeup at 1am (at least the alcohol part)

Looks good to me...

Don't forget Jason Terry.

The Jazz are interested in him, but the Hawks have already said they are going to match any offer sheet the Jazz come up with.

I will consider myself happy knowing that certain players will retire with never winning an nba championship. number 1 on that list is reggie miller, but a strong second was the duo of stockton and malone. it looks like malone will get his ring now, but at least stockton went out without one.

Yes, but all of that is more readily available (and in greater quantities) in most other NBA cities. I doubt NBA stars want to have to drive to Wyoming to get kegs...

Jazz to re-sign Carlos Arroyo, their #3 PG from last year.

Jazz talking to Stephen Jackson from the Spurs.
