he seems to think a legal disclaimer when employees log on fits into the mission critial group of things to do.

I guess it all depends on the mission.

Seriously, choose your battles. This one probably isn't worth fighting. It'd be much easier to just do what he wants instead of arguing over semantics. Wait for a real issue before putting up a fight.

A system that is critical to the functioning of an organization and the accomplishment of its mission.

Being able to define something as mission critical begs the creation of a mission statement.

Ask him where in the mission statement or his perceived mission of the company a legal disclaimer fits in.


I agree he's a fvcking tool.
