I am of african decent and I would either not accept reperations or give the money to a charity if it ever happened. I wasn't stuffed in a boat and sold into slavery so I don't deserve the money. But I will never forget that it happened.
 
I think we should give every living slave reparations. Stand up and be counted. What, zero?

I sure hope people who think like that, are not wasting away on the streets, holding their breaths, while hoping that the government is going to somehow come thru for them. Here's a clue; 3 generations before you did it, and nobody got wealthy, got it? Now go get an education and a job. Nobody is here to support you. You are here to find a way to support yourselves. 😉

First of all the government should not give money to DECENDANTS.

Now if there is a person alive who was a slave in 1865 that was freed, I will personally start collecting money to pay reparations.

The rest of those were all paid to people who were actually screwed over personally, not descendents removed by 4 or 5 generations. If you have personally spent time chained up in a cotton field, we'll pay you something.
