Dammit, I just told off my boss....

My boss's management style is completely "reaction". He only reacts to whatever anyone else does.

So he came over to me today and suggested a trip for him and I to go to our plant. This would be a one week trip for me. My first reaction was "So where did this come from? You just came up with this idea?" Keep in mind that our plant is a totally different division of the company. Their president suggested that we come up about 2 months ago, but my manager didn't do anything at the time.

He says nothing for two months, and now he wants me to plan a one week trip to a different country before the end of the year.

I've had over 20 jobs in my lifetime, and a reactionary boss prolly 70% of the time.

You will get used to it after awhile 😉

Are you his little boy-toy on this trip?
Yeah, don't let him pull any of that "Say . . . nice pants, mind if I feel the fabric" and "this room with only one bed was all the hotel had" sh1t. And no showers together "to conserve water"! :|

Stop complaining dude. It's one week in another country. Coming from someone who likes to travel, I don't care how short a notice my boss gave me. I'd pick up my stuff and get going. Free travel means all expenses paid and it's somewhere else other than your desk. Be happy. If you told you're boss off that badly, you're an idiot.

geesh...you got pissed over that? Did you have to pay?

BTW, Baked, it's Colombia, not Columbia. Sorry, but everytime I make that mistake, my g/f wont stop hounding me on how to spell it correctly.
