A really attractive girl came into the computing site and asked me some questions about her account, and I got the feeling she was interested in me, because she kept coming over and asking more questions about the computers here, and about how she took a year off from the U-M and how things have changed, and other stuff unrelated to the computing site.

So anyway, while I was helping her we made some small talk and I was feeling really good about the whole thing, but just as she was leaving and walking toward my workstation (to give me her #, I assume), the blind girl who always needs help checking her email walks in and almost walks into a chair, so I'm forced to help her instead of talking to the girl (and she's long gone by now).

I guess if she's really determined, I'll see her again, but...

DAMMIT! I hate the ADA! :| 😛

Doh! You weren't fast enough. You should've said to her "Sorry I can't talk too much right now, but here's my number, maybe we can go get some coffee sometime."

Well, did you say anything to the sighted girl, like "hold on a sec, I'll be right back" or something of that nature?

If not then don't worry, if she was interested she will be back 🙂

Dude,

She was only going to give you her number so you could go to her place and...fix her computer. And I mean that literally, not figuratively.
