According to this, Voinovich voted to pass the ammended bill. I hope someone challanges both him and DeWine the next time they come up, because neither of them will be getting my vote (I'll leave the ballot blank by their names before I vote for them).

Feinstein voted against it. I'm not sure I understand her reasoning. She agreed with both ammendments, does she want gun makers to be sued so badly that she will vote down an extension on her beloved AWB?

Looks like it, http://www.csgv.org/ is screaming victory, wonder what they'll be saying when a flood of cheap high cap mags hits the market come the end of the year.

The AWB is but a step in the right direction, at least in her mind. Gunmakers going out of business due to lawsuits gets to where she wants to be much faster.

It'll be nice, I need to get some more magazines for the M1A, they're getting kind of scarce at gun shows.

Some states are passing legislation that would prevent lawsuits anyway. Indiana was on track to, until the gay-marriage fiasco went down. Then the house republicans refused to come to session because the Democractic speaker wouldn't say how he'd handle their "blast" motion to ban gay marriage. So it looks like it won't be happening in this session, at least not in Indiana.

Add Taft on the no list as well.
I'm not adding Taft to the "no list", he's already got his spot up near the top.

Waaaaaaaaay up at the top, neighboring Hillary Clinton.

Damn, he's not that high up on my list. :D

Well, on pretty much every issue, I disagree with his policies. And thats tough for a Republican to do, if they stick anywhere near the party platform, which Taft doesnt. Not that I totally agree with the republican party (I'm more of a Libertarian), but they are closer to my opinion than the democrats.
