Yep! Glad she's OK.
I've had three accidents caused by other people making stupid moves (namely, left turns from the right lane) while not aware of other drivers proximity.
It scares me sometimes, how few people understand how important it is to be aware of
all other driver's, motorcyclist?s, bicyclist's, and pedestrian's whereabouts and relative speeds. That's how my mother taught me, and that?s how her father taught her: To always be fully aware of everything in all relative directions.
My mom also tried to teach me to always leave myself an ?out,? a lane or shoulder to steer onto in order to avoid an accident. That works most of the time, except that I?m always trying to pass people who are driving slowly, so that?s why I?ve crashed three times into someone turning left from the right lane.
