what's a "dambit"

i was wondering that too...

i think he means damnit?
You mean "damn it"?

Swearing is an offense, punishable by administrative warning, then mandatory workplace education, and finally - fired.

This type of non-work computer use (this forum) is also an offense. It isn't recorded on the firewall because I have the laptop undocked and operating through the vendor wireless access. (Direct to net through Sprint/Cisco connection.) Plus I have access to the firewall log files in case there had to be some editing involved and I have admin access to my laptop.

So there is some abuse of privileges.
😉

at the end of the day though you still can't say damnit and some joe shmoe will be tapping that ass. 🙁 Too bad firewall logs can't fix that....

🙂

Break the rules. Just avoid breaking them by saying, "Yo baby! You look smokin' hawt today! Wanna check out what's in my pants?"

You should be able to get away with telling someone they look really nice today. Just do it when no one is around.

i think he is takign this workplace/manager postion a wee bit too serious, pretty soon he will start to spouting page, chapter, sub chapter and the regulations verbatim😛

OMG .. do you abide by every rule and reg? You must be boring even if you do hold a managerial position. 😛

Anyway, have you even spoken to her yet, im sure it?s not an offence to say ?Hi?, and see her response? As you should know in your Job role/Managerial training, you just need to build up rapport!

1) She's probably married or in a relationship anyway.
2) Don't feel bad for not being able to tell her what she probably knows already.
3) You chose the profession, if you can't handle the rules and regulations then don't become management.
