Damaged GPU?

Since pushing my card up to 430/1.11 at that speed aquamark ran wayyy slow so I tried to bump it back down and have basically been held to no higher than 380 on the gpu, but at that speed it runs as it should. Could I have damaged it going that high? My temps never topped 60c. And I havent seen a single artifact yet even when overclocking that high, so Im pretty much clueless, although from the start this card seems to fail the overclocking test alot.

Try lowering the clocks a little (a few MHZ). Overclocking is real good. Overclocking too much can be real bad.

i had the same problem.. after the letting the card cool for 5 mins with power off.. it returns to normal and i can oc as high again

Havent been able to get it past 380mhz clock now so who knows, but a 380mhz 6800GT is still very solid and scores me 70k in aquamark.
