damage goods question ! I WOULD NOT USE DHL AGAIN SEE WHY

the claim was made by the sender .
what i need to know sing this is a very large item 120 lbs
it was shipped with dhl/federal exspress ground .

ok it hapen to arrive 2 weeks ago and the carton was crushed in one corner .
they sent a insurance inspector out like the next day to take pictures and measurements and my statement !
now im wondering how long i got to keep this monster box in my basement till they pick it up .or will they just tell me to toss it ?

Looks like you had more success than I did. I called FedEx and complained about my damaged packages in the past and all they do is say they're coming out and never do. I didn't lose any money in the process so I didn't care whether they came or not but I'm sure the other party cared.

took till last week but they did give up the cash (check ) for the busted up monitor ! it took 30 days and a bunch of phone calls but they did pay up !
now on a side note do in the last 45 days or so i have had 4 packages from dhl -shipped to me
here is the record
1 arrived damaged (monitor )
1 never made it out of there center and was returned to the shipper - and he got it back smashed
1 arrived to me in good shape -(a dell powersupply on a recall {was wrong part from dell }
1 carton no problems at all l computer powersupply

soSO I SAY DHL IS RUNNING AT A 50% RATE THAT YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT IN ONE PEICE !
