dam i got a irc trojan i think

well i was idling a channel and my friend mark banned me and he said he was sorry that i had a irc virus that i was saying if you want to be op put this in channel so. does anyone know how i can get rid of this my avg didnt pick anything up and either did ad-aware. i hope i got it fixed also i dont see any other processes in task manager i know which ones i have in there before. does anyone know of this trojan if so how can i fix this?

I think your friend is yanking your crank.

However, I would firstly take a look at making that post a hell of a lot clearer.

hes not messing i know because i was sent the same thing aparently its just a irc virus so i just unitstalled irc so i should be good

Run both of the available tests here.

edit: while you're at it, run a MBSA scan too.

Trojans/viruses are like STDs, always practice safe sex and use a limited account and have a freeware antivirus package, antivir, that is better at detecting trojans than avg.
