Why dont you put a sticker of a badge number of a fireman or cop that died on 9-11. Those are true heros they who deserve more honor and recogniton than a car driver in a sport.

Give me a break. You damn lemmings didn't give a sh!t about firefighters/policeman until 9-11. If 9-11 hadn't have happened, you guys wouldn't give them a second thought.

I'm not saying that Earnhardt is some kind of God, but he did A LOT for his sport. It'd be all the same if Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods just dropped dead at their respective ages.

Its amazing how much value we put on things that in reality have no value at all.

Wow this post pissed me off in a way I can't express.

All the man did was provide entertainment for millions of fans. Also, the "value" that people rally around with the "3" stickers isn't just the sport but a man's LIFE, the most valuable thing of all.

Not only that, but "just" driving up around 180mph and going left is pretty damn hard when you got all these other cars around you doing the same. Try it sometime. I did once and it was HARD... got all this centrifugal force and everything else FIGHTING you at the wheel. MUCH harder to "just go left" than straight-line.

I'm not really big on Nascar, but I knew the name Earnhardt... he was awesome.

That is exactly what im talking about. I stand by what i say. The man drove cars fast making left turns, he died doing what he loved. but to put the guy on a fricken pedestal and damn near worship him is over the top.

Minds are like parachutes, they only work when open.

Citrix it's time for you to open your parachute.

Dale Earnhardt Sr was well respected in his sport because of what he did. He was one of the big names, with Cale Yarboro, Richard Petty and Bobby Allison. And he died during the "big dance"... The Daytona 500, on the LAST lap.

Imagine if Dave Winfield or Yogi Berra, or even Bob Euker died from a fastball to the head in the bottom of the ninth. Wouldn't they be immortalized as well?

If you wanna talk about people who "only make left turns" ... lets talk about people who get paid $252 million to hit a little ball. When was the last time anyone made $252 million to make left turns..... hell... when was the last time someone made $25 million to make left turns?
