Dailytech says conroe on 6/6/06?

Does conroe really release on june 6 i could have swore it was later on this year.

It may be released to OEM's on the 6th, but retail versions probably won't be out till the end of the 3rd quater.

I heard NDA is lifted on the 6th, but that they won't be out till July.

Well on the AM2 Release tomorrow it said AMD had moved release to May 23rd because intel was releasing conroe on the 6th idk tho.

Well thats a tuesday and I know apple likes to release new products on tuesdays. I guess we will be seeing new powermacs (macmacs pro or mac pro or maybe mac 2 pro) soon.

My 1st dualie opteron system hasn't been oc'd yet and my 2nd one has not been fully setup yet....

If I dont get it done I am afraid I will abandon it for water cooling and see what I can do with that and a Conroe!!!

The calendar stands as...

1. Conroe will be shown and NDAs lifted on June 6 at Computex in Taiwan
2. Conroe will actually begin shipping to OEMs/Distributors in July
3. Conroe will be available in stores sometime in late Aug/early Sept

off topic, but its really 06/06/06 at least thats how i write dates. So it does look alot like the day of the devil. But June 6 makes sense for shipments since the NDA lifts on the 5th. Just remember that there is a big difference between Conroes being in Dells warehouses, and Conroes being on you desktop.
