DailyTech news...

I know this isn't really about the forums, but it still bothers me. Every time I click on a newslink, I get redirected to that page on DailyTech.com. Nothing wrong there, I know Anand started something new. Good job.

What I hate, however, is that is opens in the same window, and that when I click the back-button in either my browser or on my keyboard, I get redirected right back to that perticular page on DailyTech.

It annoys me to no end. Please do something about it 🙁.

Right click the back button and select the page you want. Or, right click the link and select Open In New Window.
You can do this till it's fixed.

Yes, I know, and I've been doing that ever since I first encountered the problem. But, anyway, it's not the way it's supposed to be, right? 😉

I just open everything in a new tab in FF

but you can try here:

comments@dailytech.com

🙂

I use opera, and in that you can just middle click any link to open in a seperate tab while staying focused in the tab you are in. So you can middle click every news link you are interested in reading while they are loading in the background.

Works exactly the same for me in FF.

Yeah, well, I don't really feel like switching browsers just to make ONE site properly work 😛. (I use IE6, and am quite happy about it ^_^)

in the meantime hold SHIFT and click. This will open it within a new browser window.

By the way, does anyone have any issues about logging in at dailytech?

I use opera, and clicking on the Login button does absolutely nothing.

Thanks. 🙂
