my keys are also pretty boring as its just my car fob, key and a speedpass

I carry because in the off chance that I end up in a bad situation I can take care of myself. The extra magazine is just because. Sure, I probably don't need it, but I'd rather have it close by if possible. The gun and the mag are both on my belt and don't weigh down my pants at all. My normal carry is much smaller but it's in the shop right now. The knife is just good for all around. It's not really a self defense weapon, it's more of a tool.

Rofl. This phone has been beat to hell and back and is still working fine . I'll probably have to upgrade soon as the hinge just broke, but i'm holding on.

Really don't want to pay $30 a month on data plans that I have no care for =(.

Schneiderguy, I'm not sure off hand. I picked it up from walmart with a gift card I had. Cost about $55. 3.5" blade, spring assisted.

Keywest, sorry for going off on you like that. I'm surrounded by friends who are overcautious and that has affected my carrying style. I have a friend who wears a vest daily, carries two different guns with 3 mags for each of them, and that has influenced how I carry as well. Like mentioned, probably unnecessary, and may in fact influence my safety negatively, but I'm not one to leave my fate up to someone else.

I need to get a smaller light for EDC (like a Fenix LD10, Streamlight Stylus Pro, or Preon 2) and it's kind of a pain in the summer to carry a LD20 since I don't normally wear a belt. I've been experimenting though that I can just use the pocket clip and clip it to my pants like a IWB holster and I don't notice it too much.

Why do people think that is ridiculous to carry? Lots of people carry concealed, and tons of people have knives. Lots of people carry more too (1 or more pistols, several knives, pepper spray, etc).

If I carried, I'd have same as OP basically, except a smaller pistol and a flashlight.

Hmm no surprise. It's kind of a like a Jeep thing (you wouldn't understand).

It's to protect yourself and your family and friends. Maybe even strangers if you feel to. Don't know how you can call someone a pussy for doing that.

I usually carry a flashlight but not in my pocket, usually just close by. My normal carry has night sights and my other carry has a laser grip.
