Just be glad you don't know...it was the most hyped FPS ever that turned out being the worst game ever released.

I think that Romero had ads in in PC Gamer saying that "I'm gonna make you my bitch" or something along those lines
 
I got an original, never been opened box of Daikatana. Picked it up in the bargain bin for 99 cents. A relic, a good laugh.
 
basically, they took the quake 1 engine, added more brown, gave you some stupid bot that would follow you around and its only use was getting killed, but you needed it there when you beat the level. but of course it would never follow you through the shortcut to the end of the level, no.

mind you, this game came out well after quake 3 was out.
 
A long time ago (like 1999) someone here put together a collage of Romero pictures with funny as hell captions like "Should I work today or get fatter" and Romero wearing a shirt saying "I bought Dominion and all I got was this t-shirt, and oh yeah, a sh*tty game".

Anyone have that??? I would be great to see it again 🙂 And kudos to whoever did it, I am still laughing four years later.
 
The review for this game by Dailyradar ( I miss that site ) was absolutely hilarious they totally bombed on the game and ridiculed Romero. One part of the review I remeber is when they were talking about the stupid save feature in the game and how it was equivalent to putting a beta max in a ps2.
