It says in the demo that its made for nvidia cards and i remember awhile back trying to run it on my 5500.It had stuff flashing and was dog slow.I just installed it again and ran it with my kyro @1024x768 32bit and it just screams.I mean it was like playing quake1 or somthing it was so fast.no graphical glitches or anything. It says in the demo that this game will be out later this year and is a look at what games will be like in the future. If so then this kyro will play them just fine.I looked and it has a frame log thing in it and at 1024x768 32bit it hit 180 fps and the lowest was 36 fps. Most all other where close to or over 100 fps.seems pretty good for a card with such a small fillrate.

Whatever BFg.Not with the new drivers out.The Kyro kills the mx in 32 bit.You dont even have one yet as usual you open your mouth with info you know nothing about.I have several video cards and one is an mx.

Oh yea try playing giants in 32 bit and whatch the frames stumble to a halt at times. On the Kyro 32 makes no diff from 16 as in everything except 32 looks better.BTW the 16 bit on the Kyro is the best ive ever seen on any video card to date. But why play in 16 bit when 32 takes no hit at all. This card is also very new but does have new drivers that helped it alot.I have a 5500 an mx and a voodoo3 3000 also but im useing the Kyro couse i like it best. The performance and image or great.

Which driver version? This very recent reveiew used the 5.94 drivers and the Kyro only managed to beat the MX in the high res (1024 x 768 x 32 and higher) Expendable benchmarks. The MX spanked it in the other games at every setting.

And with no T&L engine the Kyro is going to blow in the next generation of 3D games.

Not trying to say the Kyro is bad or anything, but my old GF1 DDR is faster at 1600x1200 32bit everything cranked with hardware T&L on then it is at 640x480 without hardware T&L using the same settings minus bump mapping in Giants. That likely is the absolute worse game you could chose for comparison, very heavy T&L useage and comparitively speaking very little overdraw(huge open areas + hardware T&L enabled= worse case for Kyro when compared to any GeForce board).

what i meant by using the game giants is it was made for nvidia cards and my kyro plays alot better than my friends g-force mx in 32 bit. That game is rough on the Kyro also but not as hard as it is on his mx.I have a duron @1015 and he has a t-bird @900 they should be pretty even.
BFG in that link you showed me the mx doesnt always win.Infact i read where it beat the mx several times.32 bit was the real kicker. Also i didnt see any fsaa with the mx.I assume couse it became unplayable. In one that stood out was the Kyro running at 4x fsaa 1024x768 smoked the 64 meg Radeon running at 2X FSAA in expendable and i mean smoked it by a large amount. So the mx doesnt win in every other game as you stated.Yes he did use the newer drivers it said but the card is still young and we all know drivers take a couple of months to get good. The reveiwer even states thatt the kyro drivers need to improve. Those are some of the lowest scores ive seen on that card. You say withuot a t&l unit the kyro will only get worse in future games huh. That can go both ways though from what ive read at beyond 3d the future games will become more complex with alot more overdraw and that is where the kyro shines the most. Here is another link to look at.
