You can't really compare response time from different manufacturers.. There is no standard on how to measure response time.

Sweet! Now I can buy my car, my heavy equipment, my hotels AND my monitor all from the same company! ANyone who makes all those different things MUST be good. 😉

My friend had to take back his daewoo tv after only 2 months. It wasn't daewoo's fault though... for some reason he thought it would be a good idea to put unshielded speakers right next to it.....

My daewoo dvd player is still going strong. It was cheap and hackable and played my svcds. I dont think I would buy anything else from them though.

I have about 15 Daewoo CRT 15-17 Inch monitors that broke under warranty. Daewoo just sends me a new one under service. The only bad thing is I have dispose of the monitors that went bad. I guess they are so cheap they don't want them back. I am not impressed by their CRTs, maybe they have turned it around with their LCDs.

Hilarious - local radio ad had a GREAT deal for Daewoo cars. Buy one of their Nubiras (?!?) and get one free!

Now if it were such a deal on the LCD monitor, I would go for it!

I don't know about Daewoo quality but I had a Hyundai L50A 15" LCD that was very nice for the price - paid around $312 for it here in Japan. The Daewoo is now $383 and the review at Anandtech is not bad - just don't use it for games and movies.

Haha, Daewoo makes everything.. monitors, cars, and GUNS

My 25" $250 TV from 1994 is still plugging away. At the time it was just a temporary setup! Still wish I'd gone for the composite inputs. With just a coax, I had to buy the RF modulator!

But I can't complain. Eight years is about twice what I expected.

I thought for sure it would be analog too at that pri$e, however, it reads...
Input Signal, Digital Video(option) DVI... Not bad at all! 🙂

I think that means it is an option, not that the monitor has it. From the pictures in the Anandtech review I only see the analog connection on the back of the monitor.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

Guyz, Take a look at this thread. essentially you are thread Crapping.
Any of you who have made negative remarks. Just pass on the deal if you arent interested.

No such thing as "thread crapping" in HD. I believe that it's referred to as "deal discussion". Now go get youself a cookie... There's a good boy!

Review by Anandtech
We do have to keep in mind the lack of a DVI connection on either of these monitors. Oddly enough, even though almost all video cards on the market today have at least one DVI connection, we only seem to see DVI connections on the highest quality of LCD monitors.
Unless you plan on using the LCD for games or DVD?s, the Daewoo?s perform very well.
Since Daewoo has not offered a DVI solution, we could not see if feasible to use these LCD?s for intensive gaming or graphics.
