Saw one of thesetoday in a parking lot where I get lunch. Walked over & looked at it 'cuz from a distance it looked something like what the new Toyota Corolla is gonna look like........(now delayed 'til '08/'09)

Anyway...........kinda' tripped me out when I looked saw it so I googled it when I got home. (The one I saw had a 2.5 on the right side of the trunk)

Daewoo has not sold automobiles in the US for several years now. Don't know if GM is planning to badge the car as a Chevy or something though.

The previous generation Tosca (was called Epica) was sold in US and Canada 2004-2006 as Suzuki Verona, has been dropped. Chevy also sold the Epica in Canada 2004-2006 but also has been dropped. New Tosca is marketed as Chevy Epica in Europe, Asia, other countries. It's a reskin, same engine, revised interior, different engines/transmissions depending on the country/market.

I have an '04 Epica in Canada, love it, wish GM would import this car again to NA. But they would rather have us buy an Impala or new Malibu, we likely won't see this car here again.

The 2.5 badge is for the 2.5 liter straight-six cylinder engine. It's very smooth and quiet, but a little underpowered by NA tastes.
