hi their help link seems to be down and their website isn't to helpful
can someone please give me a general 'how-to' to use it? i dont know how to get my cd (COD2) to an .iso file. i just wanna use it for the basics.. how to play call of duty 2 without the cd, (i have the original)

Daemon Tools won't help you make an ISO. You'll need CD ripping tools like Alcohol 120% to do that.

Steps:

1) Make a CD image ("iso") of the program in question using some other software, e.g. Alcohol 120%, Nero, BlindWrite
2) "Insert" the virtual CD image into a Daemon Tools virtual CD drive.
3) Play the game.

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Most games have copy protection, for example, so making a CD image of it can take some effort. When you have trouble (you're going to have trouble! 🙁), you might try posting here: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/index.php

If the program doesn't have copy protection, then this process is very easy, and you don't need to anything special.

PM me for a website that you can download premadeMiniImages (not the real game's ISO) that fools the CD check. Should be legal, as you already own the game and just want to skip the crazy cdcheck, should save you the time/money of creating your own miniimages.
