Ok, ive gathered that this will allow me to avoid having to use no-cd patches in future. Great, but it needs a disk image to work? Im trying to figure out how to make a disk image, everywhere seems to be vague on how to make an actual cd into an img file.

For the record im trying to make sid meirs alien crossfire into an img file.
 
Hmm, will magicISO do it? Is there a free alternative? Ive just downloaded it and not installed, but the big BUY NOW button on the site says itll be a trial or a limited version or somthing.
