i'm thinking more electronics related :p and no, not those kinds either ;)

Electronics in China are overpriced, even the Chinese-made electronics like Aigo.

Custom tailored suits and shirts would do nicely. Remember to bargain.

Don't-Get list: SARS, any toy (lead concerns), pet food.
Get-List: A safe plane-ride home.

your dad doesnt want to bring back electronics from china, its a hassle and they tend to break rather easily. i've brought back items, and i dont have anything that i can use, i only went back a few years ago.

i totally agree with mooglemania

Lol as I study for my modern Chinese history final, tell him to get you one of those cool communist hats that has the ear flaps and shit, kinda like a Mad Bomber hat.

sorry for replying so late.

okay, so when he goes, he gets the usual custom tailored suits, etc. he asked what i want/need and there isn't really much i could use atm so i was wondering if there were other things he could get. seems like he should stay away though...

if anyone has any other input, it'd make me happy :)

I wouldn't recommend that he get you any computer gear...if that's what was on your mind. According the to INQ, the gear over in Beijing isn't really much cheaper than the stuff we get in the US. They don't have any of the good stuff anyway, apparently.

Some art, paintings, wall scrolls, etc.? When my mom goes to China she always brings back something like that for me.

i don't really have a gaming computer...just console and i doubt any of those games in china would work on my 360 or my brother's wii. if anyone knows otherwise and the mods'll let em speak... :p
