so now mr lawyer acting on emotion kills guy next door and he will now get to watch his daughter grow up from behind a 1 inch piece of glass as she comes to visit him in prison.

way to go buddy.

Exactly, what a selfish douchebag. If he had thought about what he was doing for 1 sec and how he is now leaving his wife & daughter to fend for themselves basically.

Theres more to being a father then just walking through the door every evening after work. Far more.
Good stab I say. I see nothing wrong with his actions. Give him 6 months probation and 10 hours community service and call it a done deal.

you are 100% right. there is more to being a good father then walking through the door every evening. but i do not think killing a guy is part of it.

there is NO proof that the guy did or did nto molest her. he is going to end up in jail for (hopefully a long time) a few years (i hope). the kid is going to grow up without her father because he did something stupid.

I chuckled at the 8 ft bunny rabbit comment.

But theres also some things a 2 year old has no knowledge of, such as how a penis jiggles back and forth when you do a nekkid dance.
If my daughter at 2 knew that I too would be looking for my neighbor.
I think theres alot more to the story then we're being told however. And as you said there is more to being a father then coming home, and one of those is putting the lives of those you love above your own. Would you die to keep your children safe? Would you face an armed attacker to give your wife and children time to run away to safety knowing full well you may get killed? Most good fathers and husbands would.
This is simply an extension of that. When I say I'll give my life for my family, that means I'll give my life to stop anyone who hurts my family, whether its a rapist breaking into my house.....or my neighbor trying to molest my daughter.

Thios guy needs to be put away. For the rest of his life. You do not take the law into your own hands. A laywer especially should know that. Pity his daughter will grow up without a daddy.

there is a huge diffrence between stoping a attacker and breaking into a persons house and killing them.

with an attack you have to stop it NOW. with teh mollestation charge you can call the cops. they can examine the girl. talk to her and the guy and find out what is going on. the g uy then can be arrested (if they think he did it) or let go.

I will put my life in danger to save my kids if the situation demands it. I will not do something stupid and rnot be there for her growing up when she will need me.

Even though the law often times fails?
Child molestors generally get off pretty easy, and how many times do we here of repeat offenses? The law is failing.

Way i see it, one less child molestor our tax dollars have to support in prison for a few years, only to have him get out and do it again.

I honestly see no difference. I'll defend my family with my life, and thats that. Whether someone is trying to be sneaky and break in, or someone is trying to be sneaky and go behind my back and screw my daughter.

It is not even clear if this guy is a "child molester". What if he isn't? What if the mother misinterpreted the daughter's comments? Someone has lost their father/ son/ husband/ whatever. A harsh punishment sends a strong signal that vigilante "justice" will never be tolerated.

Remember,

There is a BIG difference between masturbating and looking OUT a window, and masturbating and looking IN a window

He is rich, a lawyer, and most importantly, White, which rounds him out very well.
He will get away with it.

Why would you assume a 29-year-old attorney is rich?

Poor people can't post 1 million dollars bail.

and he lives in fairfield, CT = rich white suburbia

I don't necesarily agre with it, but what if the guy gets let of, but you know he did it. Then if you take action against him, you're really fvcked.

i dont care what you all say but if I come home from a long day at work and my wife tells me the neighbor touched my little kid I would flip my sh1t and chop his sack off and make him choke to death on it. anyone who wouldnt do the same is not fit to have a family and kids.

In cases like this, vigilante justice is just what we need.
I'm TIRED of child molestors getting out and doing it again and again.
Maybe what we need is vigilante justice to send a strong message that fvcking little kids wont be tolerated?

So it's your position that only psycopaths should have kids ?

your little story does nothing to protect a family, in fact it more than likely would do great injury to a family, for the rest of their lives. All it does is satisfy personal feelings of revenge.

a few thoughts...

There had to have been more than the word of a 2 year to set this guy off like that - perhaps his wife actually saw the 'alleged acts', or something along those lines? I have 3 young children, and none of them at age 2 could have told me something, even if god forbid they had been molested - they just don't understand the concept at that age. It's possible the child is really close to 3, in which case it's possible the communication skills are advanced enough, and perhaps that, along with some physical evidence of abuse on the child, would have been enough to set him off.

A bit off topic, but relevant - the punishments in the country for sexual crimes, particularly against young children, are not even close to appropriate - they are far too lenient.

God help the poor SOB who ever touches my kids - they won't ever find him.

interesting and would love to see how this turns out. If true I hope the guy gets off. I do think the guy needed to wait for evidence for this though but the parental instinct kicked in.

two wrongs don't make a right. did he ever think about how growing up with an incarcerated father is going to affect his child?

I have three daughters myself and I'm very protective of my kids. There is not anything I would not do to PROTECT them. If someone was ever to hurt them, god help them.

i can see what you are saying, but let me ask you would you go the lengths this guy did?
i don't see how you'd be any good for your daughters if you were in prison for life or given the death penalty.
