People who sue libraries should immediately be put to death. Not as punishment, but just as a weeding out measure. Your life can't have any value to yourself or society if you sue a library.

Maybe the father should move to Indonesia (#5) so he can punish his sons for the horrible deed they did after reading the book.. So how many of you want to move to Guam???

From the article:
In an e-mail Thursday, Adams said that "God was speaking to my heart that day and helped me find the words that proved successful in removing this book from the shelf."

He said he would fight any effort to put the book back on shelves.

"Any effort to reinstate the book will be met with legal action and protests from the Christian community," Adams wrote in the e-mail.
Speaking as a Christian, let me be the first to say that this moron does NOT speak for all of us. I consider him an embarassment to Christians everywhere.

The kids would say God was speaking to their hearts and helped them find the stool to reach and remove the book from the shelf.

You can be a perfectly fine Christian w/o resorting to censorship. The goal is to try to lead by example (though most fail). I believe it is better to be educated about something that to try to ban it to keep people ignorant.

If you teach your kids how to handle things as they arise, you'll do a better job than tryin to censor them and having them have to learn when you cant control them.

Edit - dont take that as me advocating to show kids that kind of stuf, but rather to talk with them about it to understand it if they come across it.

Maybe he just couldn't figure out a way to sue the internet? :D

But I wonder if they really don't have internet access at home. What other possible explanation is there for those kids to be wasting their time digging around a public library for a lesbian sex manual, whether it be for titillation or for trying to figure out what to do to a girl during sex (while looking up "material on military academies" I might add, hahahahahaha). This is the kind of stuff horny teenagers had to do pre-internet.
