Have you decided on the psu yet?
and I don't see hard drives listed. How many and which?
I would get him a cheaper motherboard (mostly because I don't like that armor stuff on that board, runs hotter doesn't it?) but I disagree with the rest and say that you should overclock his cpu. Nothing crazy, maybe like 4400MHz or so. And like gevorg said, get a good hsf. Something quiet.
Newegg has some G.Skill ram right now that would be $110 for 16GB. DDR3 1600 CAS9 1.5V
is he using his old case or getting a new one? and are you putting the whole thing together for him? does that EVGA videocard come with the adobe software? I bought my EVGA GTX 460 SSC+ from Amazon and it came out to $85 after rebates and selling the software.
If he can afford it and he expects it to last him years, get really good stuff.
