I have an XFX 6600 256MB that has a 300 core clock, 8 pixel pipelines, and 256MB of 128bit DDR at 550mhz. SLI is supported.

He gave me a 3D Fuzion 7300LE with a 450 core clock, 4 pixel pipelines and 128MB of 128bit DDR but I can't find out the speed. It also has that Turbo Cache stuff. SLI is not supported.

But I don't have a SLI mobo, nor do I really want one so I guess the SLI point is moot.

He told me I could try it out and see which one I like better and give him the other one.

Which would you keep?

Hmmm. And if I ever get a SLI board, I can add another 6600....guess I should plop the ol' 6600 back in eh?

6600 is gonna be faster. Yes the core clock is slower but then you also have double the pipes and double the video memory. Turbo cache is crap.

Keep the 6600.

6600 FTW. Turbo Cache is no better then having IGC. maybe a bit better but not much. it's a crappy card the 7300. keep the 6600 without a doubt.
