Actually no, expectations are quite high for this film.

They still do the marketing to enlarge the possible audience though.
 
I think it will be a decent movie if you enjoyed the book. Good actors, good director, should be good
 
Is it just like the original web puzzles?

Either way, with that cast and director, I highly doubt a flop, especially considering the buzz around the book/movie.

I just saw the link today on my google homepage, sounds like it could be fun, and even though it was an unintrusive ad (the keyword being ad) I just hope this does not become a precedent with google to offer these things.
