Hey guys. I want to just say this game in incredible. I was always against rpg's of this style but this game really turned me around. This game is one of the best I've ever played.

I am a mage blood/healer and I got to the dwarven city to get them to join my army. I opened the quests for both kings, But now I go to the two representitives and they both say to go speak to the other king and spy to find out more. I tried many different things to get around this, but it just seems like there's no way. The problem is my last saved game from before I got to this city is 10+ hours ago before...

so is it crucial to get the dwarven help? I have the templars, the elves, and another race i cant remember. could I continue the plot without the dwarves?

if not is there a way to get out of this glitch?

thanks!

You may actually be stuck. You don't have any pre-messup autosaves?

You *may* be able to progress by going to the arena and fighting, though.

go to the arena and say you want to fight for a side, whichever side you want to represent. and i think you can fight some people (even if you have already done the quest) i think thats how i did it.

There's a bug in A Paragon of Her Kind quest. There's nothing you can do. You have to side with 1 guy the entire quest or else you either get stuck or never completely finish the mission.

I've went ahead chose Bhelen's quest but later crowned Haramont because Bhelen seemed like an evil dude. Resulting in a finished mission that says it isn't finished. Everyone has this bug far as I'm concerned. In your case it seems it's just stuck. Either you have autosave or your own save files. You have to go back.

Really? there's no way out of it?

I went to the proving grounds and fought there. afterwords I went to the guy and he wanted me to find out more about the other king, to be a spy. The other guy also wants the same thing.. either won't speak to me.

Two quests are opened "shifting allegience" and another one forgot what it's called. Both want we to be spies. Is there any way to talk to either kings without going through those guys?

Would a patch fix it?

There's no way I'm starting 10 hours back.. that's crazy. There must be a way..

Can you 'drop' a quest in Dragon Age? I haven't tried it but it may help to reset things.

I don't think so.. especially a main plot quest...

Is there a way to modify the game files to make it think that I did what they want me to do? (to find out what each respective king wants..)

That's the main quest

Well yes they are but there are two paths to choose from.

Surely you should be able to drop one of the quest lines as it is impossible to complete both. It is at the very least worth investigating.

I've searched for known bugs because I couldn't get it cleared on my quest. There is a bug. Some people are getting stuck like OP or like me never get it cleared in the quest log.

At least I only sided with 1 king until the end I switched over. I finished the quest but it doesn't get it cleared.

Yeah, one of the quests always stays uncleared. That's a minor bug in the quest log. But if neither of them will send you on the missions that end up in the Deep Roads, then you're hosed.

i did the proving grounds mission and also did the mission where I had to send letters to two guys about how they're getting ripped off.

This is crazy... I guess I'll never see the ending.. 10 hours is way too much to replay
