I encountered that the other day when replying to this thread (in fact, with exactly that word: Matsush1ta). They obviously "fixed" it to search within words, so it catches not only s*** but also bulls***, horses***, s***er, s***ty, etc. The only problem is that it is too freakin strict - at least they don't filter "ass" or else we'd have to write a**ume, which would really suck. :roll:

I seem to recall UQ being a user here at some point. What he did to make his name end up on the banned words list I have no freakin idea, because we can still say DennilFloss - and as most of you know, that was quite a fiasco (regardless of which side you're on, you have to admit that he sure earned an infamous place in AT forum history)...

The way around the word filter is to just put an unclosed tag somewhere in the middle of the word. So Ultra[[/b]/b]Quiet looks like Ultra[/b]Quiet when rendered by fusetalk.

What makes you think telling that would get you banned? *Abusing* that is what will get you banned. Perhaps if more people knew about it the fix would get a higher priority from the FuseTalk coders.
