5-8 now so the season is officially over I would say, don't think a 8-8 team could make it to the playoffs and I don't the Bears will even go 8-8 this year.

Can't believe I miss the Ditka lead teams.....

I'll be the biggest Bears fan in Wisconsin next week. :)

Jauron and his entire offensive coaching staff need to go for the team to improve. The defense is actually not too bad, they just need the offense to start producing.

Of course, the Bears then have to find someone up to taking over a team that needs a lot of work. There aren't many guys willing to do that, and Mariucci is already taken.

That being said, GO BEARS!!! (for the sake of the Pack)

I grew up in Chicago, but the only time I cheer for them is when it will help the Packers.
So GO BEARS!

That's what he was getting at. One thing I've realized in the past few years of football is that if the coaches are playing smart, the team does well. Yes, you need talent, but a group of average pros with an outstanding coach will do a hell of a lot better than a team of stars with a terrible coach. Kansas City (aside from yesterday) is a prime example of an excellent coach and mostly average player. Given, they have Gonzales and Holmes who are awesome, but nobody else on the team plays at their level.
