when kevin wasnt injured, He had some really great strong games on the lions. If he can stay healthy, he should be able to help da bears.

If he was a cheap contract then it's a nice gamble that could pay off. He played great for Detroit last year after he worked into a full time roll in week 5 or 6. He's a good runner and an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Chicago worked MUCH better with the "platoon" style running game where a number of backs shared the workload evenly. He'll be a good option a few downs each posession to mix things up and spread out the field.

Assuming he makes a good recovery.

you realize that he lead the nfl in rushing one year, right? benson's problem is chicago's o-line was terrible. everyone was mad that thomas jones left, but up until benson was injured he had more yards and more yards per carry than jones did.

yeah most people forget about the good ol' O line. They were one of if not the worst in all of the NFL. Yet Rex and Benson take all the heat.
