D3Dx9_43.dll missing. How to reinstall it?

Anyone know what I need to do to make certain games work again? I did a fresh reinstall of win7 64bit and did all updates ect. Ive installed directx and nvidia drivers for my gtx295.

I keep getting the following error: d3dx9_43.dll is missing.

Because of this missing file, some of my games dont work, others still work fine.


What might I be missing?

Been thru this many times
DirX is kinda funny, if there is a fine working vers installed WFP wont allow FULL update, it only adds a few things it thinks may be needed, or maybe nothing at all.
However if you do it in safe mode, you get around that
Its looking for Jun 2010 cab in latest DirX
Remember Win 7 came out Oct 09, theres been two updates since - Feb and June
Run the setup.exe MANUALLY in safe mode from the right click extracted 95.6MB redist - NOT with the web helper!!
