d3d games going choppy after a while

Hi,

I have a ASUS V7700 (GF2 GTS) on an EPOX 8K7A with 1.2G athlon @ 1.33G and 512MB CRUCIAL PC2100 all that running with win98

After playing D3D games for a while (20-30 mins) the video goes funny, kind of jumping frames. Waiting does not help and only solution is to reboot. OpenGl games run fine for hours.

Had a Evermax PSU that I changed it to see but no change.
Changed from Asus drivers to Nvidia drivers and no change.
CPU temp seems OK.

Any ideas what could cause this and most of all how to solve this?

Help much appreciated.

First try setting that CPU back to it's normal Mhz settings..

ASAP!.. 🙂

You never know if anything went wrong.. or that your CPU type can't handle the overclock correctly.
