These are my average cands/day before the client upgrade taken from a thread from 10/26.
CPU.......................OS.......Avg Cands. / Day
XP1800@1583....Win2K...........62.23
PIII933@1000.....XPPro............17.74
PIII500..................Win2K............15.81
PIII450..................Win98............14.24
PII400....................Win98...........13.36
I don't have performance info from only the new client but I have info on the cands/day total and how it has changed since the upgrade. Here it is.
CPU.......................OS.......Avg Cands. / Day
XP1800@1583....Win2K...........65.16
PIII933@1000.....XPPro............17.78 (has been doing SETI last several days so not much change)
PIII500..................Win2K............17.78
PIII450..................Win98............17.35 (been used for the shortest amount of time before the update so a big change is not a surprise)
PII400....................Win98...........14.40
I would suspect that if these changes were due to a more accurate average over a longer period of time then not all of them would get better. I'll continue to monitor this and see how this changes over a longer time span.
