These are my average cands/day before the client upgrade taken from a thread from 10/26.

CPU.......................OS.......Avg Cands. / Day
XP1800@1583....Win2K...........62.23
PIII933@1000.....XPPro............17.74
PIII500..................Win2K............15.81
PIII450..................Win98............14.24
PII400....................Win98...........13.36

I don't have performance info from only the new client but I have info on the cands/day total and how it has changed since the upgrade. Here it is.

CPU.......................OS.......Avg Cands. / Day
XP1800@1583....Win2K...........65.16
PIII933@1000.....XPPro............17.78 (has been doing SETI last several days so not much change)
PIII500..................Win2K............17.78
PIII450..................Win98............17.35 (been used for the shortest amount of time before the update so a big change is not a surprise)
PII400....................Win98...........14.40

I would suspect that if these changes were due to a more accurate average over a longer period of time then not all of them would get better. I'll continue to monitor this and see how this changes over a longer time span.

I think I would have seen an increase but I lost a node cuz it is on win 95 and my home box has locked up once a day for the last three days and I have lost probably 10-15 hrs of crunching in total.

But when its running it seems faster.

I just use my average time per cand and divide it into 24 hrs because I have down time sometimes too. I also had a couple of those off D2OL the last couple days before the update because they were on DF.

Seems the new client has been optimized a little bit.. but i guess if everyone has an increased production by a little bit that adds up to a lot :)

Lol I have seen a great increase in performance :)

Win 2k

1800+@1640MHz
Before: 60
After: 100

Some of that goes to the fact that I have overclocked the CPU but it really seems quite too big for only that.

I can't really tell if I have jad an increase, cuz I added another node, plus I have been more aggressive with uploads on the XP1700!
