The stats quit working at 12:30 AM Friday morning. Looks like a 3 day blackout. I am running offline, uploading just enough to keep things running. I will have a good sized dump when it gets fixed.
How do you work offline and chose when to flush? I've noticed that when I do the Alt-F trick in DSpy, the number of task files has fallen from 100. Is the D2OL program saving my work for when the stats stuff is working again or is my work being lost? I've noticed my stats have stayed the same for 2-3 days too.
On your D2OL client click the check mark on the left and at the top under the General Tab is a box for Online / Offline make sure that is not clicked.
The Servers are messed up again (Seems to be a ongoing thing)
As far as are your stats saved or not I don't know. Maybe somebody else can answer that one.
In the Windows client go to properties, check or uncheck the online box then hit OK. This switch can be toggled to control the number of WU uploaded. When the candidate server is working you will download about twice as many as you upload. I don`t think the candidate server is working right now so you should just run offline until you run out of work. It is really hard to say if your work is being counted. Don`t take any chances run offline.
as for the work being counted...most ofthe time it is, although there has been at least two or three instances where many people have lost significant work.
As others have said, best to crunch offline right now until sometime tomorrow.
