Ok I finally got th etime to play with this program but some things are a little confusing. Is there a way that I can quickly check each node to see if it is processing properly? Also how can I get it to veiw inside the program files folder of a Windows XP machine?

There are also some very strange results surfacing here. It says that my conformer times for the following machines are as follows: P2 400MHz 2:45, P3 450MHz 10:00, P3 500MHz 17:00. Are any of these close to where they should be? It seems hard to believe that my P2 is 7 times faster than my P3 500.

BTW my Athlon XP 1800+ pumps out a conformer every 1:45.

[EDIT] The P3 450MHz just started a new condidate and now it is doing conformers in 1:11. Thats faster than the XP 1800+.

It depends on the size of the Candidate and energy of each conformer. I have some that only take 20-30 seconds per conformer and some that take up to 4 minutes per conformer.

If you are networked to each computer you simply link to the C:/program files/Sengent/D2OL/D2OL for each computer. Sharing will have to be set for each computers program file folder.

My system keeps getting blue screens today.. hope I can figure that out. Its doing it while Im at work and Im losing lots of crunch time. :(

Also be aware that there was some kind of Sengent server error last night and lots of people showing way more Candidates completed than normal. I found mine to be stuck on one conformer and had to shut down and restart the Agent.Even with it stuck on that one conformer, The DSPY was showing continous work completed and showed like 30 more completed than the Agent. I have reported this to Sengent and they are looking into it.

Wow I just had my 1800+ go through conformers in 11 seconds each.:Q

I'm going to have to figure out how to get file sharing working right with Windows XP. It works perfectly except I can't view the program files or windows folders over the network.

The only way I was able to get XP to work right when I was using it was using a router.

Huh? How would a router help you view the contents of a folder who's contents are restricted by the operating system?

What I meant was that I would always lose the network connection to my client using a hub rather than a router. Using a router I dont even have to use the network wizard to setup a home network. I just have to setup each with the same workgroup. I had lots of problems with XP maintaining a network over a hub, and internet sharing. With the simple addition of a router with built in 4 port switch all problems were solved in that respect. On my client I simply have designated folders as shared folders and I can access anything on those from the main box with XP or 2K which ever I happen to be using.

Ok I see now. I've never had a problem maintaining a network connection with XP and a switch but I don't use ICS either.
