Geoffs Im real sorry you have been burdened with those stuck candidates. 🙁 I had one myself this morning and Im sure running 19 nodes it can be a pain to monitor. I know they are working on a solution to the problem and hopefully will have it cleared up soon. But one thing is clear, you are stomping the stats makers ahead of you, and within 2-3 weeks will be in the top 20 worldwide, are already top cruncher on daily and weekly, on and on... you are on the top of the world right now and that says a lot for you buddy! Keep up the good work and hopefully you will kill all the little problems and make D2OL history! 😀


Ahh! I just passed 4000 and Im gonna have my first 300 day.. 🙂 Me 5 little nodes have worked hard today. Too bad my profile says 11 nodes... shold be able to retire the dead ones 😱
 
🙂 Thanks mastertech01. The stuck node problem is giving me an excuse to brush the rust off my Visual Basic skills. I can't use dspy on all these machines because I don't want to share the drive on all of them. I've hung all these machines off our corporate lan (with the admins permission) but I don't want to open them up for everyone to see. So, I've got each machine ftp-ing the stats.prp file to me on an hourly basis. Now I just need to write a little pgm to compare the last hour stats file to the current one to see if there is any change. If not, a warning will pop up. 🙂

Yea, I'm getting stuck canidates too.. dang it! With just 1 node running...cost me plenty last night, hope they come up with something quick.
 
rbV5, just purge out all of them in your Que... shut down first, then find the folder with the que files in it and delete them all, then restart the agent and it will refill with new ones. If you dont the stuck one will keep getting recycled in the cue and sticking..
