D2OL in linux question

Does anyone if there is a way to run D2OL at the command line in linux? The only way I've figured out requires X windows to be running, and I REALLY don't want to be running X on my IRCD machine :\

If there is no way to run it at the command line, I will just have to go with SETI on that machine (really wanted to use it for D2OL)
