D2OL Frusterations

Okay now I can say this because I run it,
#1- Are they ever going to update that stupid broadcast message?
#2- Why are the servers always down?
#3- Is this really contributing to drug development?
#4- Will Ken ever e-mail me back?
#5- Will the client ever stop getting stuck on bad conformers?
#6- Is it time for me to switch to DPAD😉?

#1- no... .who reads it anyway? You still have it being displayed? 😉
#2- in all fairness, they are really only down on the weekend, and even then not always
#3- who really knows? But, aside from primes and RC5 (and I still don't believe that RC5-64 actually did finish!), how do we know any of the results are actually being used

#4- unlikely.... I get 1 in 4 back from him, and now that he was hired by TSC, none of us may ever hear from him again
#5- I haven't had one stuck candidate in about 3 weeks, and I'm running about 18 nodes... have you updated the client, and started with a new queue?
#6- I'd personally prefer to not see you leave, but that's your call...

No it's not still displayed, but it seems they could use it.

#2 Another budget item - someone told them they could save money on electricity by shutting the servers down over the weekend.
#3 Probably at some point.

#5 Yes, however more money will need to be appropriated, ie. see answer to #1.
#6 What you do in your own place is up to you. 😉

Keeping a sense of humor while still running this D2OL project is a requirement.. I read that in the budget somewhere.
