Ken at the D2Ol project needs information on exactly what problems you are having with your clients not working... I already know they dont work but what are the symptoms.

Thanks

Repeat the above two steps until the client is stopped

This is on all four of my Win95 OSR2 systems (1 P266MMX 96MB RAM, 1 Athlon Classic 600 128MB, 2 Duron 850s 128MB)

Thanks Slatz and Bitspit. I have posted your concerns to Ken in tech support on the D2OL Forum. Any others keep posting here and Ill pass it on.

With Task Manager, I was able to see that the client uses around 181MB of virtual memory. I then adjusted the min/max virtual memory to 512MB. Unfortunately, the client still doesn't work. I'm about to give up on this if they can't make a client that works. I do this in my spare time. If I can't enjoy it, it's not worth it.

What about upgrading those Win95 systems to Win98, NT, 2K, or WinXP? I know most Win95 systems are older and can't handle NT, 2K, or XP but they should be able to handle Win98 without any problems. Gotta remember that Win95 is like 8+ years old. Sadly, we've still got a few Win95 clients hanging around in my office.

Ive converted one of mine to Mandrake 8.1 and damned thing is out producing My P4 2.53 with Win2K! Sheesh its killer!

would love to update, but it is my work machine and I am powerless to change it....on the bright side, this is only temporary as we are getting new machines at work end of January...then I will have a P4 to run D2OL on.
