I will be re-doing my loop soon and dont know whether i should go for the o-ring mod or just go for the nozzles they sell. Does anyone know which would be a better choice? I am not quite sure how the actual o-ring mod works.

I think the O-ring mod involved putting a bigger O-ring than stock, causing the block base to bow. This gave greater pressure in the center of the block, where the CPU's cores are. If you lap your cpu, this should be unnecessary but if you don't then it may be a worthy consideration.

As for nozzles, I don't think they are very useful unless you have a quad core, in which the quad nozzle helps for a few C.

No, not the oring for the barb. It's the oring that seals the copper base with the delrin top. A bigger one will cause the base to bow.
