d.net Client & RC5

plm

Junior Member
Hi

I'm currently taking part in the RC5 challenge (or trying to), but my d.net client keeps reverting to the OGR challenge instead. I am using the Win32 client, and set it up to do RC5 by pressing 2, then 9 in the config window, and typing in RC5,CSC,DES,OGR. It works fine for that session, but if the client is closed and I reopen it, reverts to doing OGR, even though the config still has RC5 ahead of it. Any ideas? Thanks. 🙂

Cheers
Peter

plm:

write this instead: RC5,DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0

that should fix your problems!

Welcome to the Team, plm! Keep on asking any questions you might have, and thanks for joining! : )

Thanks. Good to see we overtook slashdot.org since I joined... 🙂

What's the story with the member status? (Junior member, senior member etc)

Cheers
Peter

plm: No problem, we're here to help!

Those junior, senior +++ stuff are just an indicator of how many messages you've posted since you joined the forums... you start out as junior and move up to member when you've posted more than 20 I think, and Senior are more than 200 messages... and so on and so forth... There are a couple of specials tho' Elite are specially selected for contributing something special ... Moderators are selfexplanatory 😉 and of course the BOSS (Anand) 😎

BTW: You know we've got lotsa stuff like our own webpage here... there are a lot of useful information there... like how to join our IRC channel and stuff 😉
Here's the java chat client 😎

We've got lots more... keep asking and we'll tell you all about it!

With love and respect your fellow TA member
