The PC I was working on (my brothers) just died while I was copying a large file onto a thumbdrive. The drive got corrupted (reads a having 150MB, but no files). Why cant my brother stop installing craptastic programs on his PC? :|

Anyway, can I trust windows to format the thumbdrive, or what?

I would recommend you first boot into Linux, then mount the drive and fsck it...

But I'm not StormRider... the hole for the USB connector is too small for me.
