I got my 1900+ on my Epox 8KHA+ and I have it at 11x160 and the first time it happened I upped the FSB too high and I think the same thing happened this time but it was working for a while I just updated IE to 5.5 and now I get this error message and I have no idea how it can be fixed, I have even cleared the CMOS and tried to do the Win2k recovery...

"Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMced startup optioins for windows 2000 press F8

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows 2000 setup using the original setup floppy disk or CDROM select 'r' at the first screen to start repair"

This is very irritating because its like the 3rd time I have had to format and it didnt happen right away I installed all drivers all the new ones and SP2 and now after installing IE 5.5 it tells me this and I cannot boot to anything. Please help if you can

i don't know why this problem occurs but i have had it too. what i did was boot in to dos (using a win98 startup disk), and go to the config folder and backup the SYSTEM file (by copying it to another location. then i rename the SYSTEM file to SYSTEMced and reboot. that has always solved the problem for me.
