My current router is finally going the say of the dodo and am looking for a nice wireless G replacement. I saw D-Link's gaming router at Fry's yesterday and wanted to know what people thought of it's fabled network gaming optimization.

It's received some really strong reviews, with people saying that it noticably increases performance on networks with multiple gaming computers or with computers that are uploading/downloading at the same time people are playing.

Just wants to see if anyone here had one of these and what their opinion of it was. Thanks!

There is a thread about it in the Hot Deals forum. I do not have one, but many people claim it as being very stable. The GameFuel technology; however, is just marketing and you should not expect a huge difference in it.

You might want to consider the Dir-655, I think it is the same thing as the 4300 except it has draft-n. It costs $120 at Circuit City while the 4300 costs $99 at Outpost. You might be able to pricematch it for 110% or use a coupon for Circuit City to bring it down $10 dollars more.

Eh, have a couple laptops all with G, dont really feel like upgrading everything to draft-n standards. :)
