D-Link wireless system not working

I have the D-Link wireless router 614+ and the wireless card 520...and the DWL 650. Supposedly the 650 is not supported by XP? Why? I have the router hooked to the main computer with the 98SE and the 520 to another computer using 98 in a room less than 20 feet from the router. The 650 is the only card that is using XP in a laptop. Sometimes the laptop card works and sometimes it doesn't. The 520 doesn't seem to work in the bedroom computer. What's up with that...I have tried to download drivers but still doesn't work. I have a cable modem hooked to the router. My sys is a AMD 1.33 768RAM 98SE.:disgust:

The DWL 650 is not supported by WinXP?

Hmmm, I think your mistaken, since that is the card I am running on my dell laptop using Win XP pro. Works fine for me with a DI-614+.

Check for a firmware update for that router your using also. Should get it.

Win XP drivers ARE listed at D Links website for the DWL 520, so it should be compatible.
