$40 for the DIR-615, $60 for the DIR-625 (which has much better reviews). I've been on the fence on moving to a wireless network in my home for a while now, I just may jump on this. Do these kinds of deals come around often?

Tempting, but the *threadcrap alert* newegg reviews are pretty bad on the router. Anyone have good luck with one of these?

I just purchased the router last week at Office Max for $39.99 + tax, its been running at my Friend rocky's house for a week and he has had no problems with it at all.

We setup his wireless print server last night and that worked fine too.

router has HTPC,PS3,HD Slingbox and Reg Slingbox plugged into it wired useing all ports, and he has a nice new core2duo laptop he uses everyday with it too.

His old Belkin router kept dropping his internet cable modem connection, it works perefectly at my house, and I download a 4gb HD move off his computer last night over a 6 hour period.

so the router seems to work just fine.

kinda wish I would have got in on this deal, but N wireless card are pretty useless now as everything laptop has come with wireless built in for like 3 or 4 years now, so no big loss.

I had some pretty major problems with the DIR-615 I bought on clearance @ Target for $24 awhile back. This may be a newer rev and have a lot of those issues fixed, but it was prone to drop connections quite a bit, and through some research online, I found a lot of people were having the same problem, so I ended up returning it and sticking with my WRT54GS. At some point I'll probably pick up an N router again, but gonna hold off for now.

I had this router for a couple of weeks and just returned it to OD today. The weirdest thing was that youtube videos wouldn't load (other sites would). When I switched over to the WRT54G2 that I got from CC for $18 the issue cleared up immediately. I was on default settings for both.

Looks like this is still going on. Decided to jump, I got mine Friday, set it up this morning, access point is pretty easy to set up, but offers some decent configuration options, static DHCP, QOS, stuff like that. I switched from my going on 4 year old WRT54GS, which I've had nary a problem with, hopefully I can say the same for this one down the road.
