D-Link Systems AC1900 USB WiFi adapter, anyone have one?

The newish D-Link Systems AC1900 USB ball thingie, just curious if anyone here had one and could report in on it if so.

My crappy tp-link dongle still doesn't support windows 10, and doesn't appear that they ever will so i was curious about upgrading to this thing instead.

Had it for a few days. It's running great with Win 10 x64.

It's for a desktop so no idea on beamforming or anything there. I do like it a lot more than the unsupported intermittently working TP-link crap i had before.

If anyone's wanting to upgrade their router and such to wireless AC and runs Windows 10, i'd really suggest ponying up the bit extra for this adapter so you have no headaches and get quite a bit of speed out of it to boot.

If One want already to spend so much on a Wireless Client, One can do better by using something like this configured as Wireless Bridge.

Heh, maybe. I was just sick of my TPlink one randomly working and dropping off over and over again since Windows 10.

Seemed a lot of those ac1200 dongles all used the same chipsets (realtek?) i think it was.
