My router is the D-Link DIR-655 (HW B), with latest FW. I was using a D-Link DGS-2208 Gigabit switch to connect the router to hardwire two D-Link DAP-1522 APs. All worked well for over a year. However, the DGS-2208 died, and I replaced it with the DGS-1008g switch. Now I am having constant Internet connection issues. The two APs are still hard-wired to the DIR-655 through the switch, but even the computer hard wired directly to the DIR-655 loses Internet connection frequently. When I lose Internet on the computer plugged directly into the router and cannot regain access, if I unplug the switch (DGS-1008g), the access magically reappears on the computer connected to the router.
So, does this sound like the DIR-655 and DGS-1008g don't play well together, or could it be that the DGS-1008g is just bad? As noted, I never had any connectivity issues with my prior DGS-2208 switch.
Thanks!
