Turning to ATOT for help on this one.
Last month, July 22nd, I bought a D-LINK DWL-520P (Wireless NIC) with the understanding that there was a rebate (got this from hotdeals forum). I downloaded the rebate form and sent it in with the UPC code, receipt, etc.
Yesterday, I got a postcard from them stating that I didn't qualify for the rebate. reason: Purchase made outside of qualifying period.
I checked my rebate form and it said purchase had to be made within period written on the back. Unfortunately, this is a copy and I screwed myself because I didn't photocopy the back side of the form so now I have no dates to refer to.
I called them anyway, and the operator said they didn't have my UPC code and that was the reason I didn't get the rebate. I said, that's bull because the postcard said 'outside of qual period'.
She said, well just resubmit the info and they'll verify the dates. Now I have to resubmit everything but I still don't have the back of the rebate form. Does anyone have a copy of the back of the D-link rebate form for purchases made during that period (July 22nd)? I'd appreciate a copy. I know its within the period, just need to prove it to them.
The stupidest thing is: she said they couldn't help me unless I resubmitted everything.
